K-12 Education Partnerships & Adoption Manager | Mission-Driven Non-Profit (Hybrid NJ)

Job Description

A mission-driven nonprofit is tackling one of the most urgent issues facing K–12 students today: online safety and child trafficking prevention. Backed by top education leaders and already active in dozens of New Jersey schools, the organization has built a free, state-aligned curriculum that combines teacher training, student engagement, and powerful digital tools. With strong early traction and growing demand, they’re now hiring a Sales & Account Manager to help drive adoption and expand their impact statewide.

In this role, you’ll serve as the face of the organization to school districts—building relationships with superintendents, guiding them through adoption, and ensuring successful implementation of the program. You’ll lead presentations, follow up with district leaders, and move schools through an onboarding process in Asana. From launching county-wide campaigns to supporting school-level execution, you’ll play a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and long-term program success.

  • Own the statewide rollout of a life-saving K-12 curriculum that prevents child trafficking and online targeting—your work directly impacts the lives of children.
  • Report to and present alongside the founder (chair of Montclair State’s Global Center for Human Trafficking) while shaping go-to-market strategy for a fast-growing nonprofit.
  • Founder-funded stability – no scramble for grants; growth is fueled by a self-sustaining budget and strong board connections.
  • Fast track to Growth – help scale NJ, then spearhead expansion into NY, PA, DE, and CT as the program goes national.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Flexible base salary (DOE) + commissions (tied to new school districts & students trained)
  • Location: Hybrid (in-office presence required in Montville; flexibility possible, e.g., two remote days/week)

Requirements

The ideal candidate is mission-driven, credible with school leaders, and energized by building something from the ground up.

Experience Guidelines

  • 8–15 years of sales, partnerships, or education-related experience preferred
  • Background in K–12, ed-tech, or public sector sales is a plus, not a must
  • No degree required—founder values mindset and execution over credentials
  • Based in New Jersey and open to working from the Montville office (hybrid OK)

Intangibles:

  • Confident and professional, with the presence to engage superintendents and board members
  • Warm and personable—someone who builds trust easily
  • Flexible and resilient—not rattled by a “no,” and able to pivot as needed
