Outside Sales Executive – Aluminum Extrusion / CNC / Manufacturing

A high-growth Houston-based manufacturer is hiring its next Outside Sales Executive to expand a new extrusion division. This is a ground-floor opportunity to sell a cutting-edge solution with clear differentiation—automated production, fast turnarounds, and unmatched local support.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Own a Houston-based territory focused on small to mid-sized manufacturers.
  • Hunt for new business while inheriting 20+ existing accounts from an overloaded rep.
  • Sell to clients in construction, trailers, solar, handrails, and more—many of whom still haven’t been approached.
  • Conduct on-site consultative visits and manage full technical sales cycles: from CAD drawings to delivery.
  • Be in the field 95% of the time, supported by marketing, engineering, and a state-of-the-art facility.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $70,000
  • Commission: Paid Monthly, Uncapped
  • OTE: $250K+ potential
  • $800/month car allowance

Hardest part of the job:
You’ll be expected to hunt, learn the extrusion sales process, and drive your own pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably industrial, fabrication, or technical products
  • Professional, articulate, coachable, and highly disciplined
  • College degree not required; intelligence, grit, and integrity are key
  • Must pass two brief assessments
