Outside Sales Rep – Global Entrance Systems Manufacturer / Industry Leader

Job Description

A global manufacturer of quality automatic entrance systems is hiring an Outside Sales Rep in the NY market. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on winning new business, although the role will change into more account management over time. You get to run the show, build relationships, and take them as far as you want. This is a highly consultative sale involving long-term relationships and multiple stakeholders in the construction field. 

 

The NYC market is the top-performing branch, and the opportunities are limitless! You’ll work remotely and will be supported by a local branch with a skilled project manager and operations team, as well as an inside sales rep to assist with creating quotes, processing paperwork, and prospecting for new customers. We are committed to expanding our installation and operations staff as your account base grows, and we’ll give you all the tools you need to be successful.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $80-100K + Uncapped Commission (w/ Accelerators)
  • Yr 1 OTE:  $110-130K+. Year 2:  $135K-$160K+.
  • Annual car allowance:  $7,800 paid biweekly + mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of outside sales experience in a commercial construction-related field.
  • Strong preference for experience working with architects, general contractors, and developers.
  • Strong preference for experience selling doors, entrance systems, or other building products.
  • BA/BS Degree preferred.
