Inside Sales Account Executive – Rapid Growth / Professional Services Start-Up / B2B Accounting and Tax

Job Description

A two-year-old, fast-growing startup (60 employees) is looking for a full-cycle Account Executive.


This company is revolutionizing the way accounting, tax and payroll services are provided to small businesses. This is a ground-floor opportunity as the national sales team is beginning to scale and will be based out of the Denver metro region (Denver Tech Center area, close to light rail stations). 


  • Backed by world-renowned private equity investors out of Harvard and Stanford who are known for their experience investing and leading companies through sustained, long-term growth (examples of companies that are now Fortune 1000 in size). 

  • 4x revenue growth in the last 2 years alone with over 2,000 clients to date. 

  • The CRO (this role reports to) has a phenomenal reputation and sets very realistic and attainable quotas.   


The company has a growth strategy of growing both via M&A and through significant investment in organic growth. In this role you will be part of the organic growth organization selling to SMB accounts while reporting directly to the CRO. This is done through a combination of cold calling and email campaigns, LinkedIn etc. The company is growing very quickly. The expectation is that individuals will have the opportunity to quickly grow their careers alongside an amazing sales and executive leadership team. Simply put, this company is on a rocket ship with incredible room for upward mobility and growth.


Compensation and Benefits:


  • Comp =  base up to $65k to make $110k-$120k year 1 in realistic commissions. 

  • Uncapped commissions + accelerators.

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 months to a year of strong outbound sales experience (can be a prior sdr role). 

  • Proven history of achieving targets with a willingness to prospect.

  • Experience selling to business owners preferred.
