As the Sales Manager, you will take the lead in driving growth for a high-performing sales team of 17 members, blending seasoned professionals and newer talent. You’ll be directly reporting to the President, focusing on coaching, developing, and expanding the team to achieve aggressive growth targets. You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on support, working closely with both inside and field sales reps in a primarily B2B environment. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, based in Southern New Jersey with occasional local travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse sales team of 17, ranging from industry veterans to recent hires.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and exceed targets.
- Foster a positive, results-driven team culture while maintaining a supportive environment.
- Collaborate directly with the President to align sales objectives with company-wide strategic goals.
- Oversee training for new producers, enhancing their integration into the team.
- Maintain a hybrid work schedule with occasional travel within the New Jersey and Philadelphia area.

Requirements
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in B2B industries.
- Must reside in Philadelphia or surrounding areas.
- Strong track record of developing and leading successful sales teams.
- High dominance, relational, and results-driven leadership style.
- Property & Casualty, Life & Health insurance licenses (preferred or obtained within 45-60 days).
- No specific degree required—relevant industry experience is highly valued.
