Sales Manager (LEADER) – Industrial Manufacturer
Job Description
A successful, family-owned manufacturing company in the Milwaukee area with 100+ employees is looking to hire a Sales Manager to lead their team of regional sales reps. This manufacturer of uniquely-engineered products and capital equipment has a global reach and strong financials. They’ve had consistent year-over-year growth and have exceeded company sales goals. Their engineered solutions enable OEMs in numerous manufacturing environments to heat and process fluids with reliability, efficiency, and precision.
As the Sales Manager, you’ll be a hands-on leader to a team of 7 Regional Sales Reps focused on winning and expanding OEM accounts. This is a highly consultative, complex sale of technical products to industry leaders like Georgia Pacific, Grace Davison, DOW, Nestlé, Tyson, and Abbott Labs. The Sales Manager role is best suited for a leader who loves combining big-picture thinking with a hands-on approach to motivate, develop, and support reps in reaching their full potential.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $130K-$140K, plus a quarterly bonus with accelerators, bringing total on-target earnings to $190K-$200K+.

Requirements
- Must have sales & leadership experience selling industrial capital equipment to manufacturing and/or processing plants.
- Strongly prefer 2+ years of successful experience leading a team of regional sales reps. Open to an individual contributor w/ leadership qualifications (e.g. Team Lead or managing a team of dealer/indirect reps).
- Strongly prefer experience w/ a technical, complex solution involving multiple decision-makers.
- BA/BS preferred.
- Ability to travel minimum 25%.
- Must live in Wisconsin or N. Illinois.
