Sr. Business Development Manager – Security Service

Job Description

A quickly-growing private security firm is looking for an experienced security sales professional to help spearhead growth in Northern California. This is a pivotal role with an emerging 200-person company where you’ll collaborate directly with the CEO and play an important part in the company’s expansion. Your success in this role will open avenues for career progression, with the potential to transition into a leadership role or open new markets as the organization continues to expand. The sky’s the limit!

 

As Sr. Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on winning new accounts. This is a consultative sales approach centered on discovering pain points and providing a solution. The sales process includes new business generation activities and a relationship-building approach that may include engagements such as customer lunches, golf, “wining and dining,” etc. 

 

  • Marquee accounts include the Port of Oakland, Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center, Stockton Arena, CBRE, T-Mobile, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary of $100K-140K (depending on experience). 
  • OTE Year 1:  $185K-205K. Year 2:  $330K-350K. Uncapped.
  • Car allowance, cell phone, laptop.

 

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum 3+ years of experience in new business development within the security space.
  • Proven history of success and a systematic, well-organized approach to the sales process. 
  • BA/BS strongly preferred. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives.
