Vice President of Sales Americas – Series C / Industry Changing AI (Remote)

Job Description

A fast-growing startup is hiring a VP of Sales to run, grow and lead the North America Sales team. They are pre-IPO with 180 employees, who recently completed a substantial Series C from a top 3 global VC, with over $100M in overall funding. The organization brought an industry-changing SaaS solution to market that uses cutting-edge AI & Machine learning. Over the last year, they grew revenue 5x and doubled their headcount.

In this role you will be a hands-on leader, taking a team that currently has 12 Enterprise Hunters on it, and growing both the team and the revenue by 2-3x. These organizations have at least 5k employees (with the majority being over 25k employees). This person will be a hands-on leader with the end goal of growing the company to around $50+ million in revenue in the next 2-3 years. 

To be considered you must have experience building and scaling enterprise sales teams from the ground up in a fast-paced environment while selling enterprise (SaaS) into organizations with at least 25-50k employees. 

  • Clients: Unilever, Deloitte, ADP, HSBC, Seagate, Spotify, PepsiCo, Nestle, Walmart, Schneider Electric.
  • Named as one of the top 100 AI organizations.
  • Featured in Fast Company, and Forbes.

Hardest part(s) of the job? 

It’s the balancing of driving the business and still rolling up the sleeves and being close to the deals and driving things forward and helping navigate through that. We aren’t a large company. You can’t manage from a tower and from spreadsheets, etc. You need to know the value prop and know where to insert yourself in to drive value for the reps. 

This is really a roll up your sleeves roll while at the same time bringing the strategy and executive leadership that comes with growing and scaling a team. 


  • Must have at least 5 years leading/building a team.
  • Must have experience building out and scaling an Enterprise Sales team at a large scale.   
  • Must have grown a team from a few reps, to something significantly larger (20-30+). Ideally, grown an org from 5M to 50M+.
  • Prefer if they have experience with a land and expand model.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a nice to have.
  • Intangibles: Taking ownership / hands-on. This person will need to be senior enough where they can lead the process with the customer and be the Executive voice to the customer. Being able to work in a dynamic env. It is a start-up. Navigate cultures. Come in and roll up your sleeves. This is not someone who will sit on their throne and direct. We need someone who is hands-on and build and scale. Self-starter.
