Presales Solutions Architect (AI | Data | D365) – Microsoft-Focused IT Services

Job Description

Join a well-established $100M Microsoft-focused IT services and managed services provider that’s investing heavily in its U.S. growth. With deep expertise across Cloud, AI, Data, ERP, and Managed Services, they are expanding its Presales organization to support increasing demand across enterprise Microsoft transformation initiatives.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a consultative, client-facing Solutions Architect who enjoys solving complex business challenges, partnering with executive stakeholders, and designing enterprise solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead technical discovery workshops to uncover customer business challenges and technical requirements

  • Partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to architect Microsoft-based solutions

  • Design solution architectures across one of three specialized practices:

    • AI & Application Development

    • Data Governance & Analytics

    • Dynamics 365 / ERP

  • Develop proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, ROM estimates, and executive presentations

  • Lead technical demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs)

  • Serve as the technical lead during RFPs and competitive opportunities

  • Collaborate with Practice Leaders, Delivery Teams, and Microsoft to build enterprise transformation strategies

  • Support implementation handoff while ensuring technical alignment between Sales and Delivery

Practice Specializations

Although every Presales Solution Architect follows the same consultative sales process, each individual specializes in one of the following Microsoft solution areas:

AI & Application Development

Help organizations modernize applications and implement enterprise AI using Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, custom application development, and modern Azure architectures.

Data Governance & Analytics

Design modern data platforms that enable analytics, governance, and AI readiness using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Purview, Power BI, OneLake, and enterprise data governance solutions.

D365 / ERP

Modernize enterprise business systems through Dynamics 365, ERP transformation, Power Platform, Azure integrations, and AI-enabled business process automation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $140K–$180K (DOE)

  • 15% Annual Bonus

Requirements

 

  • Client-facing Presales Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering experience

  • Microsoft Partner, MSP, Systems Integrator, or Professional Services background

  • Strong consultative approach with experience leading discovery workshops and executive presentations

  • Experience developing proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing, and technical solution architecture

  • Deep expertise in one of the following:

    • AI & Application Development

    • Data Governance & Analytics

    • Dynamics 365 / ERP

  • Strong understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
