Senior Account Executive | Path to Leadership | Established MSP – Seattle
Job Description
Why This Opportunity Is Worth Your Attention
-
40+ year, private equity-backed managed services provider with roughly 450 clients nationally
-
Actively investing in a brand-new Seattle market build — not a cold start, with an existing office, real client revenue, and a dedicated BDR already in place
-
Leadership is overhauling how sellers are paid — uncapped commission, real accelerators, and a lighter first-year quota built to get you to accelerator pay faster
-
A genuine, near-term path to building and leading your own team as the market scales — activity-driven, not a multi-year promise
The Role
-
Own 100% net-new logo sales across the greater Seattle market, selling a full managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and consulting portfolio into SMB and upper-mid-market companies
-
Stay engaged with each account for six months after it closes, with the ability to cross-sell, while a dedicated account team takes over delivery
-
Operate independently — build and run your own playbook, backed by a dedicated BDR and marketing support
-
Remote day-to-day, with some early in-office time in Seattle to build relationships
-
Travel is mostly local day trips; overnight travel only for quarterly internal meetings at headquarters
-
Reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer — a fast, two-call interview process to start
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary of $120-$150K (flexible) / $250k-$300K OTE, uncapped with 1.5x accelerators, paid quarterly.
- Mileage reimbursement (federal rate) and a dedicated client entertainment budget
- 401(k) with a 4% company match
- Paid insurance coverage
- Professional training and certification support
- Paid volunteer days
- Parental leave
Requirements
- Real experience selling managed IT services specifically — not just general IT, software, or hardware
- A genuine hunter track record — carrying their own number and selling direct to end clients, not primarily through channel partners
- Comfort selling into SMB and mid-market accounts, not exclusively large enterprise
- An independent, self-sourcing approach — doesn’t need a steady stream of inbound leads to be productive
