Strategic Enterprise Account Manager – SaaS / Aerospace & Defense / Manufacturing

Job Description

Join an established, profitable SaaS company serving some of the largest organizations in the aerospace, defense, and complex manufacturing industries. This is a rare succession opportunity to inherit a highly strategic enterprise portfolio from a long-tenured Account Manager who is retiring after nearly 15 years with the organization.

You’ll step into established relationships with Fortune 100 and global aerospace & defense manufacturers, with significant opportunity to deepen relationships, expand across additional sites and divisions, and drive long-term account growth.

In this role, you will be:

Owning a portfolio of approximately 10–20 strategic enterprise accounts across the aerospace, defense, and complex manufacturing industries. This is roughly a 70% account management / 30% new business and industry development role, with a strong emphasis on retention, expansion, and strategic relationship building.

You’ll work across complex organizations and develop relationships with stakeholders throughout Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and the C-suite. You’ll own account strategy, renewal health, and expansion opportunities while identifying ways to grow adoption across additional facilities, divisions, and use cases.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out:

  • Inherit an established enterprise portfolio – step into existing relationships with some of the largest aerospace, defense, and manufacturing companies in the world

  • True land-and-expand opportunity – grow relationships across additional sites, divisions, stakeholders, and use cases

  • Large, strategic deal sizes – average deals at this level are approximately $300K annually, with $100K+ generally being the minimum opportunity size

  • 99.9% customer retention – sell and support a deeply embedded platform with exceptional customer loyalty

  • Strong, sustainable growth – approximately $15M in ARR and growing roughly 20–25%

  • Stable and profitable – privately held, consistently profitable, and has never conducted a layoff

  • Rare succession opportunity – inherit relationships built over nearly 15 years rather than starting with an empty territory

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $150K–$170K

  • OTE: $275K–$300K

  • Strategic enterprise account ownership with meaningful expansion upside

  • Full medical and dental coverage (Healthcare starts the first of the month following employment. Company pays 100% of the premium for employees and 50% of the premium for dependents.)

  • 401K election and matching program (100% of first 3% of deferral and 50% for 4 or 5% deferrals)

  • Unlimited PTO

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and growing large, strategic enterprise accounts

  • Experience selling SaaS or complex technology solutions

  • Strong preference for experience selling into aerospace & defense, manufacturing, or similarly complex enterprise environments

  • Demonstrated success with account expansion, renewals, and long-term relationship development

  • Comfortable navigating large organizations and engaging stakeholders across Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and executive leadership

  • Able to balance strategic account management with new business development and industry engagement
