National OEM Business Development Manager | Engineered Flow Control Products

Job Description

Join a private equity-backed manufacturer of highly engineered flow control products that’s investing heavily in its commercial organization and expanding its national business development team. This is an opportunity to help drive the next phase of growth by developing new OEM relationships across North America.

This is a high-impact role for a consultative business development professional who enjoys opening new accounts, partnering with engineering teams, and helping customers solve complex application challenges through engineered solutions.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Develop new business with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and equipment packagers across North America

  • Build relationships with Design Engineers, Product Engineers, Instrumentation & Controls Engineers, Procurement, Operations, and Executive Leadership

  • Sell highly engineered pressure regulators, control valves, controllers, pressure/vacuum relief vents, flame and detonation arrestors

  • Identify customer challenges and position consultative, application-based solutions

  • Partner closely with Applications Engineering and Product Management throughout the sales process

  • Build long-term OEM partnerships that generate recurring business

  • Travel approximately 50% throughout the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130K-$150K

  • Uncapped commission (25% target variable)

  • Quarterly commission payouts

Requirements

 

  • 5-7+ years of industrial sales experience

  • Experience selling into OEMs and/or equipment manufacturers

  • Experience with engineered products, valves, instrumentation, controls, automation, or industrial systems

  • Strong consultative selling approach

  • Comfortable developing new business through prospecting and relationship building

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
