Regional Field Sales Manager – Utility / Telecom / Fiber Infrastructure | $18M + Territory | Uncapped Commissions

Job Description

A well-established U.S. manufacturer with decades of credibility in the utility, telecom, and fiber infrastructure markets is hiring Field Sales Managers across multiple territories.

This is a true field sales role with high autonomy, extensive travel, and a relationship-driven sales motion centered around distributors, manufacturer reps, contractors, and utilities. Sales Motion: Channel-driven sales through distributors, manufacturer reps, contractors, and utilities

Territory: Multi-state ownership (East or West territory)

Travel: Up to 75% travel

Product Positioning: Premium solutions with clear competitive differentiation and strong ROI

Support: National sales team, client entertainment budget, and extensive training

What You’ll Own

  • Multi-state territory with existing accounts and significant growth potential
  • Relationships with distributors, contractors, utilities, and end users
  • New business development and account expansion
  • Demand generation through distributor and manufacturer rep channels
  • Territory forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce
  • Industry trade shows and customer events
  • Strategic territory planning and execution

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000 – $110,000

Uncapped Territory Commission

  • Commission starts on day one
  • Existing territory revenue already generating commissions

Requirements

  • Proven field sales success managing a multi-state territory
  • Experience working through distributors, manufacturer reps, dealer networks, or channel partners
  • Experience selling to contractors, utilities, industrial customers, or infrastructure-related markets
  • Ability to sell on value rather than price
  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment, territory growth, rankings, or Presidents Club recognition
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence
  • Comfortable spending significant time in the field
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Valid driver’s license
