How is this list different from other rankings?

Most lists are based on opinion or brand recognition. This ranking is based on verified third-party data, including G2, Glassdoor, Clutch, and ClearlyRated, making it more transparent and reproducible.

How We Built the Candidate Pool for our Best Sales Recruiting Firms List.

Here’s how we made sure we didn’t miss any potential qualifying firms. We wanted an exhaustive list of potential companies to evaluate, and selected two sources to identify our candidates. Our first step was to search for “sales recruiting firms” on Google. We grabbed the entries from the first three pages of organic results and removed companies that were not recruiting firms. Next, we leveraged LLMs to add 20 more sales recruiting firms to the list. Essentially, we asked them for their list of the 20 best firms. This gave us a list of 42 sales recruiting firms to consider.

Ranking methodology: Firms scored using a 50/50 weighted formula combining Glassdoor employee scores and G2 client review scores. Data pulled March 27, 2026. 42 firms evaluated. Rankings are fully reproducible — source data available [here]. Disclosure: Sales Talent Inc. authored this post and is ranked using the same scoring rules.

Best Sales Recruiting Firms – How Did We Rank the Firms?

From the outset, we aimed to base our results on the best third-party review sites: Glassdoor, G2, Clutch, and ClearlyRated. We intended to combine these scores using popular weighting formulas to derive our Best Sales Recruiting Firms List. We did not consider Google online reviews as they are not third-party validated, meaning anyone with a Gmail account can leave a review.

Surprisingly, only 3 of the 42 sales headhunting firms on our list had reviews from more than two sites (Glassdoor, G2, Clutch, and ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing). The resource with the most sales recruiting firms with reviews (34) is Glassdoor. We decided to start there. Disappointingly, only 12 companies were listed on G2, three on Clutch, and two on ClearlyRated. After discovering this, we decided to build a simple formula to compare and rank companies.

Note. All data points are sourced from publicly verifiable profiles, ensuring the rankings are transparent and reproducible.

Glassdoor Reviews account for 50% of our ranking weight and can earn a company 5 points.

G2 Reviews also account for 50% of our ranking weight and can earn a company 5 points.
We awarded bonus points to Culver Careers for their strong showing on ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing List despite having no G2 reviews. As a result, we added Culver to our best-of list.

Our rationale is simple. If a sales staffing agency is without reviews, we can’t consider it for our list of best sales recruiting firms. Full disclosure. We built this list, but we believe in the methodology. To help you draw your own conclusions, we have shown our work below. One more point of clarification. We are Sales Talent Inc., but there are three other similarly named agencies: Sales Talent Agency, Sales Talent Group, and Salestalent.com. Salestalent.com and Sales Talent Agency made our list of 42 companies, finishing #19 and #20, respectively.

On to the data.

Glassdoor Reviews.

Our primary reason for using Glassdoor reviews as a criterion for the Best Sales Recruiting Firms List is straightforward. Company reviews are critical because they impact a sales recruiting agency’s ability to hire elite recruiters. It is challenging to consistently recruit elite talent without elite recruiters. It is also an insider’s look into a company. With this significance in mind, average Glassdoor reviews accounted for 50% of the weighting in our Best of List.

The chart below from Glassdoor helps users interpret average Glassdoor scores.

Based on Glassdoor reviews alone, here are the best 7 sales headhunting firms (data pulled from Glassdoor on March 27, 2026). Of the seven companies listed below, only Sales Talent Inc. and Treeline Inc. had G2 Reviews, which explains why the other five didn’t make our Best Sales Recruiting Firms in 2026 list. Further, none of the five had any reviews on Clutch or ClearlyRated.

G2, Clutch & ClearlyRated.

Sadly, only G2 had more than three companies from our list of 42 with reviews. Due to this, we decided to use a combination of Glassdoor and G2 reviews to compile our list of Best Sales Recruiting Firms in 2026. As previously mentioned, we gave Glassdoor and G2 a 50% weighting each.  Notably, despite having zero reviews on G2 or Clutch, Culver Careers had a strong showing on ClearlyRated. We didn’t change our scoring formula, but the strength of those reviews (38, 4.9-star reviews) was compelling enough to include them in our best sales recruiting firms list.

G2 Reviews.

Why did we choose G2? It is the largest review website on the internet for B2B software and services companies. They have 150k+ companies and 3M+ reviews. In the recruitment agencies category, there are 480+ recruiting firms listed.

Based on G2 reviews alone (G2 counts measured as of 3/27/2026), here are the best 7 sales recruiting agencies. All 7 made it onto our list of the best sales recruiting firms, based on their combined Glassdoor and G2 Review scores.

CompanyG2 ReviewsG2 Score
Sales Talent Inc.240+ reviews4.98
Treeline, Inc17 reviews4.9
Betts Recruiting70+ reviews4.8
Russell Reynolds Associates1 review5
Spencer Stuart2 reviews4.3
Stanton Chase1 review4.5
Korn Ferry29 reviews4.2

To round this out, here are the reviews from Clutch and ClearlyRated.

Clutch Reviews.

Rounding out the Big 3 review sites, Clutch has 1M+ reviews across 350k+ businesses. There are 11,510 recruiting firms listed on Clutch. We had high hopes of using Clutch as another signal to compare firms, but only three companies had Clutch reviews: Sales Talent Inc. with 32 5-star reviews, Treeline with 16 4.9-star reviews, and Peak Sales Recruiting with 1 4.0-star review. Despite the 4.0-star review, poor Glassdoor and G2 reviews prevented Peak Sales Recruiting from climbing higher than its 13th-place finish on our list.

ClearlyRated.

It is the largest business-services-specific review website, with over 7.2 million surveys conducted, and the only 3rd-party review platform to use Net Promoter Score as its benchmark. Rounding out our rankings from review websites, we have two firms listed (updated on March 27, 2026): Sales Talent Inc., with 44 4.9-star reviews on Clearlyrated, and Culver Careers, with 38 5.0-star reviews. The 4.9 rating on ClearlyRated warranted adding Culver Careers to our list of the best sales headhunting firms, despite the firm having zero G2 or Clutch reviews.
