Best Medical & Medical Device Sales Recruiters (2026)

(aka Best Medical Sales Recruiting Firms, Best Medical Device Sales Recruiting Firms)

(2026 Transparent Rankings)

Hiring top medical sales talent is one of the most challenging searches a healthcare company faces. The best territory managers, clinical specialists, and device reps aren’t applying to job boards — they’re already employed, hitting quota, and building relationships with surgeons, IDN buyers, and hospital procurement teams. To help companies make better hiring decisions, we researched and ranked the best medical and medical device sales recruiting firms in the US and Canada.

If you’ve read our Best Sales Recruiting Firms post, you know the methodology we use to rank recruiting firms: transparent, 3rd party validated, reproducible, and fair. We show our math, and we score ourselves by the same rules as everyone else.

Disclosure: We’re Sales Talent Inc. We appear in this list, and we’re scored using the same formula.

Quick Answer

The best sales recruiters for 2026 — based on verified third-party data (combined G2 and Glassdoor scores) — also represent the best-performing firms in the category:

  1. Sales Talent Inc.
  2. Lucas James Talent Partners
  3. Treeline, Inc.
  4. Hirewell
  5. Culver Careers
  6. Legacy MEDSearch
  7. Korn Ferry (sales division)

These rankings are based on verified third-party data, including client reviews, employee reviews, and multi-year satisfaction signals.

Why a Medical Sales-Only List?

Hiring a territory manager or clinical specialist for a medical device, medical supplies, orthopedics, capital equipment, diagnostics, or health IT company is fundamentally different from recruiting for general B2B sales. The best candidates understand clinical workflows, speak the language of physicians and hospital administrators, and have proven track records navigating long procurement cycles, formulary approvals, and OR protocols.

Most generalist sales recruiting firms lack the candidate networks and industry fluency to compete in this space. The firms on this list were evaluated specifically for their ability to place field-level sales professionals — territory managers, account managers, clinical specialists, and sales reps — rather than just executive-level hires.

How We Built the Candidate Pool

To compile this list, we started by identifying 27 medical sales recruiting firms that actively recruit for territory-level medical sales roles across medical devices, medical supplies, diagnostics, surgical, orthopedic, wound care, capital equipment, and health IT.

We built this initial list using a combination of:

  • Google search results. We pulled the first 3+ pages of companies listed for “medical sales recruiters” and “medical device sales recruiters”.
  • Claude-assisted research. We asked Claude to compile a list of leading medical and medical device sales recruiting firms to surface additional candidates.
  • Manual vetting. We removed firms that do not place territory-level sales reps — including retained executive search firms whose minimum engagement fees and seniority focus make them impractical for field sales hiring.

You can view the complete list of firms considered here.

How We Ranked the Best Medical Sales Recruiters

Each firm was scored using the same methodology we use across all of our “Best Of” recruiting lists:

Glassdoor rating + G2 rating = Total score (out of 10)

  • No subjective adjustments.
  • No bonuses for firm size or brand recognition.
  • If a firm had no G2 or Glassdoor reviews, its score was set to 0.

Why Glassdoor + G2?

  • Glassdoor matters because it reflects an agency’s culture and its ability to attract and retain elite recruiters. You don’t consistently land top-performing medical sales professionals without top-performing recruiters who understand the industry.
  • G2 is the world’s largest B2B software and services review platform with 3M+ reviews. Its independent, verified reviews serve as the gold standard for comparing recruiting firms on client satisfaction. More importantly, every review is manually reviewed and validated.

Bonus consideration awarded for:

  • ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Award — the only award in the US and Canada that recognizes staffing agencies based entirely on verified client and talent Net Promoter Score surveys. Firms must achieve a Net Promoter Score of +50% or higher to qualify.
  • Forbes America’s Best Recruiting Firms — based on an independent survey by Statista of 49,000+ external recruiters and 20,000+ hiring managers. This peer-and-client recommendation signal carries weight as independent third-party validation. We didn’t include it as a primary consideration, since recruiting firm size plays a prominent role in compiling these lists. For example, Korn Ferry is #1 on Forbes’ list despite finishing #6 based on G2 and Glassdoor, with a combined score of 7.6 and a rather low 3.4 on Glassdoor.

With 40+ years of experience in medical and medical device sales, they are one of the most established names in the space. Best for medical device companies that want a recruiting partner with 40+ years of niche experience.

#6 Legacy MEDSearch — 4.70 base + Forbes bonus / 10

#7 Korn Ferry — 7.70 / 10 + Forbes Bonus

Based on: 4.2★ (29 reviews) on G2 + 3.4★ (3,845 reviews) on Glassdoor.

  • Forbes #1 Best Executive Recruiting Firm 2025 — #1 ranking in 8 of the last 9 years.

Korn Ferry is the world’s largest executive search firm, with a dedicated sales recruiting practice that explicitly covers medical device sales roles and sales leadership. Their Glassdoor review volume — the largest of any firm on this list — reflects the scale of their global operations, though their 3.4 star rating trails the top tier. Best for large enterprise medical device companies running senior sales leadership or national account searches where global infrastructure and brand credibility matter.

Firms with No Verifiable Review Data or Poor Scores

Most of the firms on our initial list of 27 have zero verifiable third-party review data on G2 or Glassdoor at the time of publication. A few had poor scores. We include them in our master list for completeness — their longevity and industry reputation may be relevant to your search — but we cannot score them on our formula.

Here are the rest of the companies by name: Goodwin Recruiting, Peak Sales Recruiting, MRI Network, salestalent.com, Pursuit Sales Solutions, DHR Global, Direct Recruiters Inc., Global Edge Recruiting, CPR4sales, Dana Associates, Medreps.com, National Register USA, Normlye/Erstling Health Search, Chozen Inc. Search, Rep-Lite, Jacobs Management Group, Medsurg Sales Staffing, Med-Search Recruiters, HealthCare Recruiters International, JRG Partners

Why Some Firms Were Excluded

We removed several large, well-known executive search firms that appear on general “best recruiting firm” lists — including Spencer Stuart, Russell Reynolds and Heidrick & Struggles. While credible organizations, their retained search model, minimum fee structures, and seniority focus mean they do not typically engage in territory-level medical sales rep placements, which is the primary use case this list is designed to serve.

The standard for inclusion here is simple: the firm must demonstrably place field sales professionals — territory managers, account managers, clinical specialists — not only VPs and C-suite leaders.

Why We Built This List

We’re a Seattle-headquartered national sales search firm focused on B2B GTM roles across the full funnel — Sales Reps, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Sales Leadership (Manager → CRO).

Within healthcare, we recruit across Medical Sales, Pharmaceutical Sales, Life Sciences, Health IT / Healthtech, Dental, and Veterinary.

We built these rankings for one reason: to give founders, revenue leaders, and HR teams objective, reproducible data to help them choose the right recruiting partner.Related reading: Best Sales Recruiting Firms · Best Sales Manager Recruiters · Best Technology Sales Recruiters
