My name is Chris Carlson and I’m the founder and President of Sales Talent. This blog grew out of my desire to document and share what I’ve learned in my two decades of sales recruiting and 17 years of running Sales Talent with our internal recruiting team. With each new hire, the most difficult aspect of our business to grasp is the art and science of predicting how a sales professional will perform with a new company. Given that there is an almost complete lack of objective information on the subject I knew that I would have to create the guide for our team. As I started mapping out what I called Talent University I saw an opportunity to include our current and prospective clients and candidates in the conversation.
